Where is Motor School able to provide training courses?

Motor School is a National Training Provider with facilities across Australia.  We also have an extensive network of regional and rural training areas and can deliver onsite training.  Group bookings and conditions may apply.  Our regular courses are delivered from our head office in Brisbane.  Just contact us for the details.

Does Motor School provide vehicles for training?

We are able to provide four wheel drive vehicles for many of our training courses.  Our fleet of late model vehicles are meticulously maintained for your comfort and enjoyment.  Where Motor School does not have vehicles we can generally arrange suitable hire vehicle for training purposes.

Does Motor School provide learner driver training?

No, Motor School does not provide Learner Driver Training; we are a Post Licence Driver Education Company.

Can I still do a training course if I hold a Provisional licence?

Yes you are able to do the training, provided that you display the P plates on the vehicle.  Some courses require an Open Driver’s License.

Will I receive a certificate on completion of the training?

Yes, Motor School is a Registered Training Organisation and awards Statements of Attainment on successful completion of all Nationally Accredited courses, along with a convenient, wallet size plastic card for site use.

When is the next training course available?

If you do not see a date that suits a please contact us as we will do our utmost to ensure a training course is available for you.

Does Motor School deliver Nationally Accredited training?

Motor School has been a standalone Registered Training Organisation since 1998 RTO number 30973.

Is Motor School able to tailor specific courses?

We are able to tailor specific courses for both corporate and recreational purposes.
We can either customise an accredited course or design non-accredited training courses would not always be nationally accredited, however we are still able to issue Certificates of Attendance for non-accredited courses.

Can I still do training if I can only drive an automatic vehicle?

Yes, you are still able to do the training and in Brisbane we can also provide an automatic vehicle.  (Unless specified as a manual transmission by employer or course requirements).

Do Motor School trainers have much experience?

We have been in operations since 1994 and are one of the longest providers.  Our staff have many years of experience combined with extensive in-house training programs.
They are all fully accredited, holding all of the required training certifications and as well, are highly experienced with police, military, motor sport, and advanced driver education backgrounds.

How many people can attend a training course?

We do have limits on the number of participants in each course, which is usually determined by the number of Instructors delivering the training.  We are able to accommodate most training requests and would welcome your enquiry.

Does Motor School do training on weekends?

Generally our training is Monday to Friday, however we are able to provide training on weekends by request.

Do I need to bring my Driver Licence to the training?

Yes, in most every instance, our Instructor will need to site your Current and Valid Driver Licence prior to your participation in any training. 

What if I don’t have an Australian Driver Licence?

In international license is generally not a problem, there are some regulatory requirements regarding this so please contact our office for further information.

Does the training have an expiry date?

No, the National Body does not set expiry dates.  However, most companies do set their own expiry dates for training.
